If you’re using Classic Mail Yahoo.
Try to enable that action.
Mail page>>options (top right)>>scroll to and click on "general preferences".
Now go down to *Auto Complete* (near bottom of page), and put a check by—-"use auto complete in my mail"——then click "save".
I have a computer database in Access 2007 that I want to display certain fields based entirely on the first option I choose (laptop or desktop). How do I make specific fields depend on that entry?
Say for software entries. I know only laptops need VPN, so the VPN field is useless for a desktop. How do I make that field only show up if the laptop option is selected?
Okay, I tried the coding, but nothing’s working. I’m not sure of a couple of steps – it took forever just to figure out how to create the option group in the first place, but now what click event do I do? the laptop option? The desktop option? the frame containing them? HELP!!
I assume you are using an option group control for this.
In VBA code
Say your option group value is set to 1 for laptop
Then if the first option is clicked it shows the first text box and makes the second text box invisible.
optChoices is the name of my option group control
txtFirst & txtSecond are my text box fields
On the click event of your option group control add the following, but change the names to your own names.
Select Case Me.optChoices.Value
Case 1
Me.txtFirst.Visible = True
Me.txtSecond.Visible = False
Case 2
Me.txtFirst.Visible = False
Me.txtSecond.Visible = True
End Select

Get your soldier a Toshiba. Here’s one.

But order more RAM right away. Without it, it will be very slow. Two screws off the panel on the bottom, and it snaps right in.

If the Base PX sells computers, she could look for a super deal. But she should look at HP or Toshiba. They are the GOOD STUFF.
Good luck and Happy Computing!
I have an Acer laptop. My husband is deployed. The military has an website for you to do IM with your spouse yet on my Acer laptop it won’t log in to the site. it keep saying Certificate Error. It says that I have an unsure certificate. The tech people at the acer sight said that they can’t help me from the stand point a third party. Can anyone help me????
it sounds like it could be a browser setting. try a different browser like firefox. i agree with prior post as well. there should be a ‘contact us’ link on the site worst case. wish you the best!
I’m buying a dell custom laptop next week, I do industrial design and use solid edge and photoshop along with other programs. What specs do i need for these programs to run quickly together?
I would suggest either dual core or quad core CPU, they’re nearly equal in price right now. Additionally at least 2GB of memory and a nice graphics card (Non-Intel) ideally 256MB or 512MB and 100GB disk drive -because photoshop files can get large quickly.
Also I’d strongly suggest Windows XP over Vista. Let Vista mature for another year and you should be okay.
Hi, im wanting to buy my first apple, fed up with windows. Im going to start university in september, Industrial Design. I have three options:
15" New Macbook Pro, core i7-620M, 4Gb ram, 500Gb 7200rpm, HD anti-glare screen,.
or
17" New Macbook Pro, core i5-540M, 4Gb ram, 500Gb 7200rpm, anti-glare screen.
or
27" iMac, i5 quad core, 4Gb ram, 1Tb 7200rpm.
These are my options because I really want to get a good Video card, GPU.
My first concern is desktop or laptop. As I will be living in campus what is better??
Laptop I can take to classes and to my house in weekends, but as I tend to keep my products for a long time it doesn’t give me a lot of possibility of upgrading, dint know if Ill need it. AND also I think with the laptop Ill tend to procrastinate more.
Desktop, is cheaper, better product, and has the possibility for a lot of upgrades, and a big screen to watch movies in my room
, but no mobility.
Do you get to use laptops in classes? and how much do you need it in university?
While in the subject of laptops, is 17" too big to move around? ive heard that the difference of processor is very small. but the 17" is more like a desktop…
well any comment will be help-full, as I will be spending a lot of my money, and want to spend it wisely.
Thank
Not a mac fanboy by any stretch. All my machines are windows except for my one mac. And I find that I use the mac more than anything. Windows "rots" over time… gets slower as time goes on… You know what I mean. Fresh install of windows is blazing fast, but over time it gets slower and slower at booting, opening apps, running in general.. and just random hard drive crunching and stuff. I find OS X to be a much smoother and more organized user experience.
If memory serves me (I was just reading specs a couple days ago), the iMac is going to give you a better vid card tan the MacBook Pro. Of course the MBP does give you the added advantage of mobility… So.. Depends what you’re really looking for (as you said in your post). Someone mentioned in an answer that getting a Mac limits your gaming potential. Well, that’s not true. A lot of games now days are starting to come out native for mac. And if they don’t have it native for mac, you have the option to use BootCamp and dual boot into Windows on your Mac box. Also, for running windows apps, there is virtual machines like Parallels which lets you run a virtual Windows inside OS X so you can run both mac and windows apps at the same time. I don’t find it limiting at all. I find I rarely use boot camp OR my Virtual Machine anymore. I’ve found everything I use and play to run native in OS X.
we’re planning to but a 2nd hand laptop at openpinoy.com & i want to make sure we wud get a durable unit. pls suggest.
as i think IBM is the best brand for laptops.but while buying second hand just ensure that all the hardware components are in order.
in the rise of laptop, you’d think they put consumer’s demand into consideration. This is not the case here, some of us don’t work in the sterile office environment so we need laptop carrying cases that can withstand a few bum and bruises. I know that you’re able to find some tough cases for 15 or 16 incher, which I bought, but for 17 and 18 you’ll need to come to this site.
ok im going on a field trip to the auquarium
im not allowed to bring an i pod or laptop
the bus ride is like 20-30 minutes long
what should i do/bring
what should i do on the bus
what should i bring to the auquarium
Bring a camera, and whatever your teacher told you to bring (pencil, lunch or money, etc.). Make sure you do not chew gum in the aquarium, you could get in a lot of trouble for that.
On the bus, talk to your friends, classmates, or teachers. Actually, teachers are a lot more interesting when they’re not in school. Did you know they actually have lives?
